Rumours are rife that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is to take on the role of Prince Harry in a biopic about the young royal's life.

Britain's Daily Mail reported last week that director Peter Kosminsky is working on the film called The Spare.

Kosminsky said: "I feel a sense of compassion for the guy. His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over. He's a man born to no role, the heir and the spare."
