I think the movie will cum out on the same day, its usually does, look at the harry potter films! Heyyy, ppl it is not going to release in india.....U are very unlucky......I am lucky as an Indian to be born in Thailand..........HEHEHEHE........I feel very sorry for u, mere hindustani bhaio aur beheno. n btw there are not a lot of fans in India. Twilight is massively popular, i agree to that, but india has definately not got the most number of fans of twilight becoz not many indians in india like reading book. Only a few of them do...Infact half of the teenagers in India dun even understand English properly.....Sorry agar main apne desh ka mazaak uda rahi hoon, but that's a fact. Only College graduates and the teens who live in Bombay can understand english properly and speak well too!!!! Sorry guys but that's all true!!! I was studying in UK and just got back to India earlier this month.

And I resent the fact that the movie just might not release on 21st Nov here in India. I mean, there shouldn't even be a possibility. This is a "world that is flat", severely globalized and competitive, so regardless of whether- "Only College graduates and the teens who live in Bombay can understand english properly and speak well"... the movie must be released on time. If not, it'll say a lot about the discrimination still practiced in the world.

And of course, I refuse to comment further on the stereotypes in people's minds about India...

ANYWAY. My MAIN aim was to find out when twilight releases here in India. The dates havn't been listed anywhere. THere aren't even any trailers or posters that I know of !!!!! This sucks. They even had to shift Harry Potter for this release and now it doesnt ebven work here. Atleast Harry Potter comes out on time.... :(

I'm stuck in India until summer! It better have a THEATRICAL release before I leave because it's not going to be playing in the US by the time I get there. I don't care if it comes out in December or January...I just want to see it on the big screen!
I've seen so many people here reading the twilight book series...EVEN BOYS!!! Please don't make us indians be stuck with the crappy quality online version or wait till it comes out on dvd...we want it ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!

they're friggin retards. i'm just checking the newspaper and official movie site every so often because they're the only sources that i can depend on...so far no news so i guess that means they haven't decided yet.

Guys- Relax- fuck this pari babe. Its inconsequential what she thinks. We Indians know what we are right? and so does the whole world with India being touted as the next economic power.So- stop reacting. Coming to Twilight. I saw the movie in KL and its quite a letdown. I loved the book and I didnt expect the movie to be as good as the book. But I didnt expect it to be so bad. The acting is terrible; screenplay is awful and the story doesnt seem to make sense if u havent read the book. So guys- you are not missing anything- trust me. And I dont think its releasing in India. Just bcos bollywood is so strong and has a mass appeal, most Indian cinemas play it safe and mostly stick to Indian films. I wish though that they would be more rsik taking and give us more international films as well.. The movie to lookout for is Slumdog millionare..releases in India in Feb 09
